To ensure clarity regarding our programs, services, payment policies, and liabilities to our customers, we have established the following terms and conditions. By enrolling your child in our program, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. We commit to regularly revising our services and terms and conditions to maintain fairness for our customers.

Amendment of Terms and Conditions

Netball Ninjas Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. 

​

Membership Termination

Netball Ninjas Academy reserves the right to refuse or terminate the membership of any player and their parents if they fail to respect our terms and conditions. No refunds will be provided for remaining training sessions or programs.  If you choose to terminate your membership with netball ninjas. You will be charged for the cost of one month’s payment from the point of notification.

Dismissal of Disruptive Players

Netball Ninjas Academy reserves the right to dismiss any player who disrupts the class or disrespects the coaches.

Safety Responsibility

Netball Ninjas Academy will strive to ensure the safety of your child. However, we accept no responsibility or liability for any indirect or consequential injury, damage, loss, or mishap occurring during our programs.

 

Administrative

Parental Responsibility

Parents are responsible for informing Netball Ninjas Academy of any special medical conditions or allergies their child may have. However, our instructors are not obligated to meet the child's medical needs during the sessions.

​

Child's Health Monitoring

It is the parent’s responsibility to monitor the health of their child. If your child is unwell, please seek immediate medical attention and refrain from sending them to the programs.

Sickness during Programs

If a child is found sick or with a fever during our programs, we reserve the right to ask the child to sit out and not participate.

​

Communication via WhatsApp

Netball Ninjas Academy may add you to a WhatsApp group for your child’s class to communicate key information related to your child’s training. The WhatsApp platform allows us to track which parents have read messages, ensuring a higher level of service for our members. Parents not wishing to be part of WhatsApp groups are free to leave.

Session Modifications

Netball Ninjas Academy reserves the right to modify sessions due to adverse weather conditions, low attendance, or other unforeseen circumstances.

​

Wearing Glasses

Members who allow their children to participate wearing glasses do so at their own risk. We recommend prescribed sports goggles and accept no liability for injury or breakage.

​

Postponed or Canceled Training Sessions

For postponed or canceled training sessions from our side, a catch-up session will be held on the reserved training date. If the reserved training session is not attended, the postponed training is then canceled, and the session’s fee will be rolled over to the next term fees. In the event of unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, unavailability of netball courts due to netball events, strikes, and lockdowns, or the spread of contagious diseases such as SARS, Covid-19, etc., training will be canceled without any catch-up session and no refund will be provided.

Fees and Payment

Payment Terms

Fees are payable in advance at the start of each term, prior to program commencement.

​

Installment Payment Plan

A three-part installment payment plan is available upon request before the start of every term.

​

Account Status

Only players with up-to-date and active accounts will be confirmed a slot for the upcoming sessions.

​

Non-refundable Fees.

All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. There will be no refund for partial attendance.

​

Discounts

A 10% discount off term fees is applicable to all players booked for 2 sessions a week. A 10% sibling discount off term fees is applicable to all sibling students signing up for the upcoming term.

​

Injury-Related Session Suspension

Players who temporarily stop training due to injury or medical reasons that require more than 4 weeks of recovery must submit documents such as a medical certificate or note from a medical specialist within two weeks of the incident. Remaining session fees will be rolled over to future programs but are valid for only 3 months.

Debt Collection

Netball Ninjas Academy uses the services of a third-party debt collection agent for all outstanding accounts.

​

Annual Administration Fee

A once-off yearly R250 administration fee will be charged to all players.

​

Photographs & Videos

​

Image Use

Netball Ninjas Academy will periodically conduct photoshoots during sessions and may use the images and videos recorded for our website and our social media channels. We encourage parents to engage on all available platforms.

​

Opting Out of Image Publication

Please contact us if you would like to opt out of the publication of images. Please notify us as quickly as possible by email; otherwise, it will be deemed that you have granted permission for the images to be used.

Social Media Guidelines

Netball Ninjas Academy will only accept the positive use of its social media pages, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. These pages are not to be used for grievances or complaint procedures.

​

Removal of Derogatory Comments

We reserve the right to remove any derogatory comments aimed at Netball Ninjas Academy, its partners, customers, or children participating in the program. Our social media pages are a celebration of youth netball, and the content must reflect this positive intent.

Code of Conduct

Netball Ninjas Academy is fully committed to ensuring and safeguarding the well-being of all its players and people in the netball community. At all times, all involved in our program shall demonstrate respect and mutual understanding for all players, coaches, staff, officials, and volunteers with regard to the safety and welfare of one another. Any mistreatment or misconduct during any of our programs may result in disciplinary action, dismissal from the training/event ground, or potentially result in dismissal from our netball programs.
